It wasn't the most enjoyable win of his career, but reigning Mello Yello Pro Stock Motorcycle champ Matt Smith did what he had to do when he raced his wife, Angie, in the semifinal round at Route 66 Raceway. Matt made one of the best runs of the day with a 6.833 to move into the final for the 52nd time in his career.

Smith will take on Karen Stoffer, who has been on an incredible run aboard Jerry Savoie's Suzuki. Stoffer beat Hector Arana Jr. on a holeshot, 6.877 to 6.867. In the first three rounds of eliminations, she's head super-human reaction times of .009, .006, and .001-second. Stoffer's last win came at the 2015 Norwalk race where she beat Angelle Sampey in the final.
