CatSpot Organic Cat Litter to become title sponsor of NHRA Northwest Nationals
CatSpot Organic Cat Litter, the all-natural coconut cat litter brand, has reached an agreement with NHRA as the title-rights sponsor for the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series event taking place at Pacific Raceways in Seattle. The CatSpot NHRA Northwest Nationals take place on Aug. 3-5 and features competition in three professional categories: Top Fuel, Funny Car and Pro Stock.
The entitlement builds upon a growing relationship between CatSpot Organic Cat Litter and NHRA that began several years ago through team sponsorships. The brand quickly recognized a direct correlation in sales growth as many new customers purchased the organic and biodegradable litter for the first time after seeing the product featured at NHRA events. This growth escalated as CatSpot Organic Cat Litter began displaying as part of NHRA’s midway experience and title sponsorship is the next step in this progression.
"CatSpot Organic Cat Litter has quickly become an important member of NHRA’s sponsor community,” said Brad Gerber, NHRA vice president and chief development officer. “They have an outstanding product and can see a direct correlation in sales as a result of their involvement with NHRA. We couldn’t be more pleased to have them sponsor the last event in the iconic Western Swing.”
"We're excited to showcase our product through the NHRA in this important market and via a nationwide audience on FOX TV," CatSpot Organic Cat Litter owner Tommy Thompson said. "We value the NHRA consumer for their unmatched loyalty to sponsors that support drag racing and look forward to gaining new customers in the NHRA segment."
The 31st annual CatSpot NHRA Northwest Nationals is the 16th of 24 events on the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series. It will be televised live on FOX and is the final event of NHRA’s iconic Western Swing that stretches from Denver to Sonoma before wrapping up in Seattle.
