Event Info
As the next-to-last event that will decide the season’s NHRA Mello Yello world championships, plenty is at stake in Las Vegas at this event. Every run is important because a slip at this point could be worse than snake eyes at the other Strip’s craps tables. The venue is the same as in the spring, but the weather may be different, making for high drama at an event where world titles are on the line.

Fremont Street Experience Fan Fest and Autograph Session - Come join all your favorite NHRA Mello Yello Drivers on the 3rd Street Stage for our Fan Fest and Autograph Session to kick off the Toyota Nationals. Fan Fest is from 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. and Autograph Session is from 5:30 P.M. - 6:30 P.M.
Friday, October 27th:
Manufacturers Midway - Come check out your favorite displays in Nitro Alley from 10:00 A.M. until the beginning of the second Nitro qualifying session.
Pro Stock Motorcycle Autograph Session - At the NHRA Midway Display featuring Eddie Krawiec, Andrew Hines, Karen Stoffer, Scotty Pollacheck, Angie Smith, Matt Smith, Jerry Savoie, LE Tonglet, Angelle Sampey, Cory Reed, Joey Gladstone, Melissa Surber and Ryan Oehler - 11:45 A.M.
Toyota Pit Pass Autograph Session - Come join all of your favorite Toyota drivers for an autograph session at the Toyota Pit Pass Display - 12:00 P.M. - 12:30 P.M.
Nitro Qualifying - Catch the action of two sessions of 300 MPH Nitro qualifying. Qualifying rounds are at 2:30 P.M. and 5:00 P.M.
First Round Follow Up – Meet announcer Brian Lohnes in the Pits after first round to get the scoop on the hottest story from Round 1.
Jet Cars - After Nitro qualifying, stick around to see the spectacular Muy Caliente Racing jet dragsters sponsored by Lucas Oil. Darin Bay will also be running his pair of Jet Cars, "Warped Speed" driven by Richard Smith & the "Tomahawk" driven by Derek Snelson. Shelly Segel will also be in attendance running her Jet Car the "The FireStarter". Known for their exciting pre-run flame shows and after burner pops, jet cars are thrust driven vehicles propelled by jet engines.
Saturday, October 28th:

Nitro School – Come join Alan Reinhart and Del Worsham at the Toyota Pit Pass Midway Display and get schooled on all your Nitro knowledge - 11:00 A.M.
Mello Yello Autograph Session - At the Mello Yello display featuring Clay Millican, Scott Palmer, Tanner Gray, Angie Smith - 11:45 A.M.
Toyota Pit Pass Autograph Session - Come join all of your favorite Toyota drivers for an autograph session at the Toyota Pit Pass Display - 12:00 P.M. - 12:30 P.M.

Pre-Race Ceremonies - Make sure you stick around the Mello Yello FanZone after the trackwalk for our driver introductions - 11:00 A.M.
Race Day - The top 16 qualifiers in each class battle it out head to head for the Wally.
Winners Circle - Stick around after racing is completed as we crown our Mello Yello event champions. Winners Circle will be held at the starting line or in the staging lanes.
ALL WEEKEND - Come by our NEW NHRA Midway Display for your chance to win prizes, receive event information and renew your NHRA Membership. If you are already an NHRA Member come hang out in our NEW NHRA Member Hospitality Area.

First Responders
Throughout the 2017 season, the NHRA will pay tribute to the legion of first responders, the heroes who are among the first people to arrive and assist at the scene of an emergency.
NHRA Salutes First Responders will honor medical professionals, law-enforcement officers, firefighters, members of the armed forces, and a number of other professions charged with the safety and well-being of the public, much like the Safety Safari is charged with the safety and well-being of the racing community.
