Unofficial points standings following the completion of the NHRA Midwest Nationals, the 17th race of the 2024 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series season and the third event of the Countdown to the Championship playoffs.

For the first time in history, NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series race day will include four female drivers in the Top Fuel ranks at the 13th annual NHRA Midwest Nationals at World Wide Technology Raceway in St. Louis.

Two races remain in the 2024 season in the Congruity NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series presented by LearnEV+ and there’s still plenty on the line heading to St. Louis as part of this weekend’s NHRA Midwest Nationals at World Wide Technology Raceway.

Richard Copertino, Paul Northrop, David Harvey, Kevin Sutliffe, and Danny Hoff took home titles at the Division 1 Summit Series Finals to earn berths to the National Championship in Las Vegas. Jeff Krushinskie will join them as the Super Pro wild card.

Due to weather, NHRA and World Wide Technology Raceway officials have announced a schedule change for Friday qualifying at the NHRA Midwest Nationals.

After nine NHRA national events and nearly 100 elimination rounds of drag racing, the Flexjet NHRA Factory Stock Showdown world championship will come down to the NHRA Midwest Nationals at World Wide Technology Raceway, where four drivers are still in the championship hunt.

Pro Stock racer Camrie Caruso, NHRA’s 2022 Rookie of the Year, will be flying the colors of new partner Aeon Laser USA at the NHRA Midwest Nationals. Aeon Laser is one of the premier suppliers of CO2 laser systems in the United States.

The NHRA Midwest Nationals again comes at a critical juncture in the NHRA Countdown to the Championship playoffs, which will reach its midpoint at the event, scheduled for Sept. 27-29 at World Wide Technology Raceway in St. Louis.

The Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event initially scheduled to take place Sept. 27-29 at Virginia Motorsports Park has been relocated to Maple Grove Raceway Oct. 24-27 due to unfavorable weather forecasts.

In addition to the thrilling action in the Mission Foods Drag Racing Series at the NHRA Carolina Nationals, nine winners were also crowned in Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series competition at zMAX Dragway, including Top Alcohol Car Funny Car winner Sean Bellemeur, who won for the fifth time this season.

 Filling in for Khalid Al Balooshi, Travis Harvey made the most of his debut in the Congruity NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series presented by LearnEV+, winning his first career start as part of the NHRA Carolina Nationals at zMAX Dragway.
