During our pause in racing action we’ll be sharing this drag racing treasure trove with you and publishing-never-before-seen photos from our vault. The NHRA has built us the tools, and we’ve been given the opportunity—it’s time we shared this with you.

This collection of images was the inspiration for 2020’s issue #1 of NHRA National Dragster, which celebrated the 60^th running of the Lucas Oil NHRA Winternationals. They were originally compiled for an exhibit at the University of California, Riverside (UCR) Museum of Photography in 2005 to showcase the drag racing past of Pomona, Calif.
