Force is 6 - 4 against Hart in prior events. Force with the starting line advantage and never trailed for the win She makes her quickest pass of the weekend and she sets top speed of the event for the win. Hart is up in smoke right at the hit.

The #2 TF qualifier has won 16 Rd. 1 races in a row at this event. Mike Salinas is 2 - 2 against Clay Millican in Rd. 1. Clay Millican is 11 - 12 in Rd. 1 since the start of last year. Millican with the starting line advantage, but is up in smoke right at the hit and clicks it off. Salinas is straight down the groove with his second quickest pass of the weekend.

This is the 1st #1 spot for Doug Kalitta since this race last year. The #16 TF qualifier has won four times in Rd. 1 at this event (and twice in the last 4 years). Passey beat Kalitta in Rd. 1 here last year when he was #16 and Doug was #1. Kalitta is 2 - 1 against Passey in prior events. Kalitta with the starting line advantage and never trailed for the win. He will give up lane choice to his teammate Langdon in the next round. Passey is up in smoke right at the hit and clicked it off

Austin Prock is #3 and the #3 TF qualifier is 17 - 3 in Rd. 1 in the last 20 years at this event. Jim Maroney is making his 18th start and first since Seattle last year. Maroney with problems on the burnout and the crew pushes the car back to the starting line. The crew then decides to shut it off. Prock is up in smoke right off the starting line and he clicks it off, but gets the win.

Leah Pruett wins 71% of her 1st round races when she has lane choice. Buddy Hull is the 54th driver to face Pruett in eliminations. Hull double steps it and leaves before the tree is activated to give Pruett the win. Pruett is just a little off her qualifying time for the win. She will give up lane choice to Force in the next round.

Steve Torrence is 201 - 86 in Rd. 1 in his career (70%). Krista Baldwin's 3.844 was her quickest run ever in a qualifying pass. This is the first time Baldwin and Torrence have faced each other in eliminations. Torrence with the starting line advantage and never trailed for the win. He is just off his qualifying time and he will have lane choice over Prock in the next round. Baldwin with another good pass just off her qualifying time in the losing effort.

Justin Ashley is #7 and the #7 TF qualifier has never won this race (0 - 4 in finals). Tony Schumacher was 2 - 0 in Rd.1 against Ashley in 2022. Schumacher is 4 - 0 against Ashley in prior events. Ashley with the starting line advantage and never trailed for the win. He will give up lane choice Salinas in the next round. Schumacher drives into tire smoke just before half track and clicks it off.
