Tasca to return to competition in Topeka
Tasca Racing will return to the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series at the NHRA Kansas Nationals at Heartland Park Topeka, May 20-22, with backing from local dealer Gary Crossley Ford.

Doug Kalitta won a virtual dead-heat Top Fuel final, and Jason Line collected his fourth win of the season in Pro Stock to lead the winners at the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Southern Nationals at Atlanta Dragway. Joining them in victory were Matt Hagan (Funny Car) and Eddie Krawiec (Pro Stock Motorcycle).

As part of NHRA’s 50 years of Funny Car celebration, fans voted on a Top 20 list. The results are being revealed in reverse order and simultaneous to a separate but parallel list created by former NHRA Funny Car champion and current NHRA FOX television analyst Tony Pedregon.

Summit Series National Championship drawing held

In a special drawing for the NHRA Summit Racing Series National Championship, four NHRA Divisions were selected to send an extra racer to compete for the national championship at Auto Club Raceway at Pomona.
