Most of us can’t get enough of drag racing photos in general and historic photos in specific. Here's a look at some interesting images from our sport's past and the stories behind them.

Since Dan VanHorn and Al Gennarelli purchased Rockingham Dragway in the fall of 2022, they have poured time, money, and effort into renovating the historic facility with new racing and pit-area surfaces, timing and announcing systems, and upgraded bathrooms and concessions, to name just a few of the improvements.

The Gerber Collision & Glass Route 66 NHRA Nationals presented by PEAK Performance wraps up at Route 66 Raceway today with final eliminations for the sixth of 20 events in the 2024 Mission Foods NHRA Drag Racing Series.
