Hight lost a cylinder early on but stayed got the win. Johnson's car shook the tires about 300 feet out and that let Hight pull away.

Beckman got off the starting line 0.009 seconds before Pedregon. Both cars were losing cylinders as the made their way down the track and the blower panel on Pedregon's car popped as he crossed the finish line. Beckman stayed out in front to get the narrow victory. Jack Beckman's MOV: 0.0101 seconds (approximately 4 feet).

Capps got off the starting line first and was trailing this race at the 660 foot marker. Then her car lost a cylinder and made a move to the right. DeJoria's car crossed the center line and went into Capps' lane a few car lengths in front of him. She took out the timing blocks at the finish line so Capps did not get an ET for this run. DeJoria was disqualified for the center line violation and Capps got the win. He race Hight next time out and Hight will have lane choice.

The last time these two raced each other before this was in the final round in Epping, New Hampshire last weekend. Hagan won that race. This time, Hagan had the quicker start and was leading the race at 330 feet. He lost a cylinder, the car got loose and he pedaled it to try to straighten the car out. Force took her car straight down groove for the win. She'll have lane choice over Beckman in the semi-final round.
