Sonoma Raceway, deep in California’s wine country, annually plays host to some of the tour’s most dramatic moments and spectacular racing. The event usually enjoys pleasant weather, aiding in impressive performances, such as the sport’s second six-second Pro Stock Motorcycle pass in 2005. It is the middle leg of the Western Swing and the site of the Mickey Thompson Tires Pro Bike Battle, an all-star competition in the two-wheel category.
