The last time the #16 Pro Stock qualifier won in round 1 at this event was in 2001. This is the first time Caruso and Cuadra have faced each other in eliminations. Cuadra is a couple tick too quick on the tree and turns on the red light to give Caruso the win. She will have lane choice over Butner in the next round.
