With his Super Stock win at the NHRA Arizona Nationals at Firebird Int’l Raceway, NHRA Sportsman standout Dan Fletcher became just the seventh driver in NHRA Drag Racing history to collect 75 NHRA Full Throttle national event victories.

Fletcher, a multitime NHRA world champ out of Churchville, N.Y., defeated Ken Etter in the final at Firebird Int’l Raceway to reach the milestone.

Fletcher has accumulated more than half of his victories – 38 – in Super Stock and has collected NHRA Wallys in Comp, Stock, and Super Gas. Fletcher also has 38 combined national event runner-ups.

A week ago, Fletcher scored his 74th victory with the Comp win at the O’Reilly Auto Parts NHRA Winternationals presented by Super Start Batteries in Pomona.

With his victory in Phoenix, Fletcher is tied with former Top Alcohol Funny Car and Top Fuel racer Pat Austin for sixth place on NHRA’s all-time win list. Ahead of them are David Rampy (79 wins), Bob Glidden (85), Frank Manzo (96), Warren Johnson (97), and John Force (134).
