The Attitude Apparel team of Rodger Brogdon and Steve Kent has signed Pro Stock Motorcycle rider Craig Treble to the Pistonator team for the remainder of the 2010 season and the NHRA Countdown to 1 championship.

Treble, who began the 2010 season riding for Don Schumacher, found himself back onboard his own bike after Schumacher shut down the Pro Stock Motorcycle team and put the operation up for sale. The talented rider from Indiana will run the final eight races of the season showcasing the Attitude Apparel motorsports clothing line that features the fan favorite Pistonator as the company logo.

“I can’t thank Rodger Brogdon and Steve Kent enough for this opportunity,” said Treble. “I’ve got a new chassis that’s just about ready to go, but now with Attitude Apparel’s help, I’ll be able to replace my current engine with a fresh one, and I can’t tell you how excited I am to know that I can finish out the season with the power needed to make a run for the championship. I’ve already placed the order with Vance & Hines for a new engine, and we should have it in plenty of time for the next race in Brainerd, Minn.”

Treble, who is ninth in the Pro Stock Motorcycle points chase, was looking at possibly finishing outside of the top 10 for the first time in 13 years. With eight races left in the 2010 season, Treble will have the opportunity to close the year with a top 10 finish and make a run for another win on the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series tour; his last was midway through the 2009 season in Englishtown.

“We’re excited to be able to add Craig Treble to the team for the rest of this year,” commented Brogdon, “and we’re discussing the 2011 season and beyond as well. We’ve known Craig for several years from his competing on the division level with us, and he brings a tremendous drive to win to the Attitude Apparel team. Craig is a racer’s racer; he has done so much with limited resources over the years, we know that he has all of the capabilities needed to put the Pistonator in the winner’s circle.”
