Courtney Force was recognized as the Internet’s Top Agent for Ford's Fiesta Movement Dec. 1 at a special ceremony at the Hollywood Palladium on Sunset Boulevard.
For the last six months, 100 Ford Fiesta agents have been taking to the streets promoting Ford’s soon-to-be-unveiled '11 Ford Fiesta. Force received thousands of comments throughout the summerlong program on her MySpace site, her YouTube channel, and on her Twitter account as she drove and then talked about the Fiesta.
Force, who for the past two seasons has competed in the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series behind the wheel of her Sanyo SuperCharged HD A/Fuel Dragster, in July won her first NHRA national event in Seattle. She is a Cal State Fullerton student working toward a degree in communications with an eye on a career as a professional driver.
Force was thrilled to win the award. “This is a great honor. There were so many awesome agents, and their videos really made me try harder with every new mission. I have to thank Ford and the Fiesta marketing team for giving me this chance. As I am studying for my degree at Cal State, the Fiesta Movement gave me the chance to take things from the classroom right to the real world and see results,” said Force.
“I also want to thank the thousands of people that voted for me to be the Top Agent as well as all the thousands and thousands of fans that posted comments to my videos or tweets over the summer. This is just awesome. I loved driving my Fiesta and got so many great comments from just people on the street.”
