Kosky was unable to get the car back into the forward
gear after backing up from the burnout. Parks then goes
straight into severe tire shake and shuts off immediately,
sometimes luck is what you need.

Reichert spoiling DePorter's return to National event
competition. Reichert stepping up from his qualifying
pass, while Danniell falls off hers.

Bartone getting the starting line advantage and he
needed it to hold off the strong charge from the injected
nitro car.

Still starts to shake the tires, gets out of the
groove and real close to the wall, and when he gets back
into his lane he then gets close to the center line. Ott
duplicates his qualifying time.

Horner takes a shot at the tree, and is too quick. He
then rides the centerline all way down the track. Bozzelli
advance to round two.

The Doctor gets a freebie here as Cantrell can not
make the call He then gets real close to the centerline
and clicks it off.

Foley will have to take a shot at the tree. Foley
driving a Burgan chassis. He does what he has to, but
Payne has too much power and chases him down. Payne with
a puff of engine smoke right in the lights again.

McPhillips launches and then bogs, and that is the
end of the race for the number one qualifier.

Sunday's 2nd Round

(W) Bill Reichert 0.464 5.696 242.78
(L) Randy Parks 0.438 5.725 244.16
1:32 PM Here we into round two. Parks gets the jump
on the starting line, and starts to really shake the tires,
but is able to drive through it. Reichert getting real
loose in the middle of the track, making a move toward the
wall then back close to the centerline, but holds on for
the victory.

(L) Frank Iattarelli 0.525 6.009 229.76
Iattarelli running his quickest pass of the weekend,
but has engine problems, and put some fluid out on to the
track. Ott running consistently and will advance to the
semis.
(W) Jeremy Torstveit 0.448 5.815 205.43
(L) Cliff Bozzelli 0.403 6.286 155.03
Bozzelli gets a lightening quick light, and then has
some tire shake. He drives through that, but then there is
a big bang and he loses a powerplant. The doctor with
problems of his own on the top end, slowing.

Bartone welds Payne on the tree, but Jay has the
horse power to make up the difference. He will have lane
choice over Reichert, and Ott with his choice over
Torstveit in the semis.
