Tickets for season-ending Auto Club NHRA Finals now on sale
Tickets for the thrilling Auto Club NHRA Finals (Nov. 9-12) the for the 2017 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series season, are now available for purchase.
New this year will be a point-and-a-half scale that will bring a heightened level of excitement for the fans and pressure for the racers as they try to close out a possible championship season.
All four pro classes in the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series — Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle — will crown the 2017 World Champions in a last-race showdown to cap a spectacular season of on-track performances for the fastest motorsport on the planet. The race takes place at historic Auto Club Raceway in Pomona, the birthplace of NHRA drag racing.
Pre-race activities Sunday (Nov. 12) include a morning track walk and driver introductions where fans can see all the stars up close. NHRA also will have a skydiver drop on the track before the first of four elimination rounds to determine the champions. And fans can join the Winners’ Circle after the race when the championship drivers are interviewed live on FOX Sports 1.
NHRA events also have the most interactive midway in motorsports with the Nitro Alley, which includes simulators, manufacturer displays, driver autograph sessions, and concessions stands with food and drink options for everyone.
