Race teams will gear up for The World’s Biggest Drag Race, the Chevrolet Performance U.S. Nationals, with a two-day test session, Aug. 23-24, at Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis. The test session will be broadcast live both days on NHRA All Access and is free to all subscribers or available as an a la carte purchase for non-subscribers.

The Chevrolet Performance U.S. Nationals is the crucial final event of the 2017 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series regular season and will set the fields for the six-race Countdown to the Championship playoffs that follow. With a supercharged points format that offers 1.5 times the normal amount of points, there’s a lot at stake at the event, which is why teams flock to the annual test session in preparation for The Big Go.

Wednesday, Aug.23 is open to testing for all NHRA Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock, Pro Stock Motorcycle, Pro Mod, Top Alcohol Dragster, and Top Alcohol Funny Car teams.  Thursday, Aug. 24 is open to Top Fuel and Funny Car teams only. Testing begins each day at 9 a.m. and the staging lanes will close at 8 p.m.

NHRA All Access members will get to view the test session for free; non-subscribers can get access to the video feed for $9.95. Non-subscribers can bundle a testing pass with a full-event pass for the Chevrolet Performance U.S. Nationals for just $19.95. A standalone All Access ticket to watch the U.S. Nationals alone is $14.95.
