Bob Tasca III and his AutoAlert Ford Shelby Mustang will be representing Tasca Racing in the NHRA Four-Wide Nationals, April 28-30. It is the first of two events at which the two will partner this season.

Bob Tasca“We have a great partnership with AutoAlert,” said Tasca. “Their AlertMiner and One-to-One Intelligent Marketing has helped us grow our dealership business, and this year, we’ll be growing our motorsports program with them to two races. AutoAlert sponsored me last year in Chicago, and they were blown away with the event. It’s great to be able to represent AutoAlert at two races this year: the Four-Wide event this month and Maple Grove [Raceway] in the fall.”

AutoAlert CEO Mike Dullea commented, “We’re proud to sponsor a great racing team that has such a rich family heritage, a history of focusing on performance, and that shines a positive light on the automotive industry as a whole. Beginning with Bob Tasca Sr., who successfully ran the family Ford business and went on to found Tasca Racing, the history of this team is steeped in dedication to family, customers, and fans."

“It takes a lot of funding to field one of the fuel Funny Cars,” added Tasca, who is making his second appearance of the season. “I couldn’t do it without all my key primary and associate sponsors. I’m excited to have all of my sponsors back for the 2017 season, along with expanding my program to at least seven races this season.”

The team is focused on picking up where they left off after its season debut in Gainesville.

“Last year was a great part-time season for our team,” said Tasca. “Nearly every run I made was a career best. We’ve been working hard this offseason to take our program to the next level, including making numerous enhancements to the race car. It took us a few runs in Gainesville to get everything dialed in, but Sunday morning we ran a strong run at 3.96 at 321 mph. I have no doubt our team will be a contender whenever we enter a race.”

Tasca Racing is scheduled to compete in at least seven 2017 NHRA events. Primary sponsors for the seven races are AutoAlert (two races), TascaParts.com (three races), PPG (one race), and Gary Crossley Ford (one race).  Other key associate sponsors this season include BG, Nitro Fish, and Ameraguard.
