Three races into the 2017 Mello Yello NHRA season, so what did we learn from the East Coast Opener? John Kernan joins Amanda Busick and Lewis Bloom in the Wally Parks Studio delivered by Papa John's for NHRA Today's Roundtable.

Gainesville, Fla., is home to one of the "Majors" on the NHRA circuit and the running of the 48th Annual Amalie Motor Oil Gatornationals did not disappoint.

With consistency the theme for the Army team this season, Crew Chief Mike Green tuned Tony Schumacher's ride to a No. 1 qualifying spot that led to the 83rd win for the veteran driver.

The winningest driver in NHRA history was able to pull it out over the "Cinderella story" Funny Car debut of Jonnie Lindberg but don't think for one second Jonnie isn't proud of his performance, we caught up with the Head Racing driver testing in Gainesville after raceday.

An upset in Pro Stock saw the third Wally of the season handed to Shane Gray after taking down his off-track friend Greg Anderson. With the Gray's family attention on son Tanner Gray's rookie season, it wasn't a bad day for the guy who wasn't even planning to race in 2017!

Finally, Pro Stock Motorcycle returned the scene with their season opener at the Gatornationals. There was a lot of buzz surrounding the 200mph barrier and although records were not set, a breakout performance by Rookie of the Year contender Joey Gladstone had everyone paying attention. The Harley riders ended up in the Finals with Eddie Krawiec grabbing the first win of the 2017 season.

With Vegas right around the corner, are there teams that should be concerned with their early season performances? John Kernan has the latest from Indianapolis with Amanda Busick and Lewis Bloom in the NHRA Today's Roundtable delivered by Papa John's.
