While the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series was on break after the NHRA Arizona Nationals, much of the drag racing world turned its attention to the home of nostalgia drag racing, Auto Club Famoso Raceway, and one of the oldest and most prestigious drag races in the country, the 59th annual Good Vibrations March Meet. The event featured many classes of nostalgia drag racing, but by far the two most popular are Top Fuel and Funny Car. NHRA on FOX reporter Lewis Bloom took a visit to the race on Sunday, March 5, and took in some of the sights and sounds of the event that many legends of the sport have won. The event is part of the NHRA Hot Rod Heritage Series, which holds events throughout the season and concludes the series at Famoso Raceway Oct. 20-22 with the 26th edition of the California Hot Rod Reunion.
