Top Fuel racer Dom Lagana joined NHRA reporter Lewis Bloom via Skype in the Wally Parks NHRA Studio delivered by Papa John’s to talk about his first race in 2017, the upcoming NHRA Four-Wide Nationals.

Lagana returns to Top Fuel competition in his family-owned Nitro Ninja dragster for the first time since last year’s race at Maple Grove Raceway. Lagana is the “International Man of Nitro,” spending many weekends abroad racing and tuning cars around the globe. Most recently, he was in Australia driving for car owner Santo Rapisarda. He and his brother, Bobby Jr., also provide a rental Top Fuel car for drivers who either need a car in which to race or earn a license. His late father, Bobby Sr., ran Top Fuel and Funny Cars, mostly on the East Coast, named the Twilight Zone.
