Pro Stock icon Warren Johnson joined NHRA reporter Lewis Bloom via Skype in the Wally Parks NHRA Studio delivered by Papa John’s to talk about this past weekend’s NHRA SpringNationals.
Johnson is a six-time NHRA Pro Stock champion and 97-time national event champ; only John Force has more wins in the Mello Yello Drag Racing Series.
W.J. spoke about some of the highlights in Pro Stock from Houston, the race win by Bo Butner and, of course, the tempers that flared in the pits. He also spoke about what he and son Kurt have been up to lately and the fact that he is fully prepared to race Pro Stock if the right funding came along.
Bloom also caught up with Joe Barlam, co-crew chief for Leah Pritchett, and Rahn Tobler, tuner for Ron Capps, about their race wins.
