Kuhl & Olson Top Fuel Dragster
This classic example of the front-engine Top Fuel dragster was built by Woody Gilmore for owner Mike Kuhl in 1969 and was driven by Bill Tidwell, Steve Carbone, and Dick Rosberg until Carl Olson took over the controls and campaigned it through all of 1970 and the first half of 1971. It was the last front-engine car that Olson drove. (He and Kuhl began construction on their rear-engine entry in August 1971.) The car made it to the semi's at the 1970 and 1971 Springnationals, and it won many West Coast events at Orange County Int'l and Irwindale raceways.
