K.S. Pittman's '33 Willys
K.S. Pittman's AA/Gas Supercharged entry is a modern version of the car Pittman built and campaigned throughout the country in the mid-1960s and in England as a member of the United States Drag Racing Team tour in late 1964. Powered by a 482-cid supercharged Chevy, this car was built to appear in match and exhibition races with a replica of the Stone-Woods-Cook '42 Willys in the early 1990s. Pittman became a household name during the original gasser wars of the 1960s and will be honored for lifetime achievement at the California Hot Rod Reunion in October.
