The Federal-Mogul Drag Racing Series event at Seattle
International Raceway has been canceled due to continuing
rain showers.

The event has been rescheduled to resume on Saturday, June 7th.

SEATTLE INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY, Seattle, Wash, Final round
results from Seattle International Raceway, the second of six
events in the Northwest Division NHRA Federal-Mogul Drag Racing
Series:

Advancing from the number six qualifying position, Mike Austin
won the Federal-Mogul Dragster category at the NHRA Federal-
Mogul Drag Racing Series event at Seattle International Raceway
Saturday. Joining Mike Austin in the winners circle was his
brother, last years NHRA Division 6 Champion and NHRA National
Record holder Pat Austin who claimed the Federal-Mogul Funny
Car crown.

Facing John Shoemaker in the final round of Federal-Mogul
Dragster, Mike Austin won with a 5.71-second, 242-mph pass. 

Pat Austins victory in the Federal-Mogul Funny Car category
came at the expense of Brian Hough. Austin proved his virility
after qualifying on the pole position with a 5.68-second, 239-
mph run defeating Houghs 5.94-second effort.
