The NHRA Tech department is requesting input from Super Stock racers regarding a possible change to the "valve-seat replacement rule".

Currently NHRA rules state that Super Stock cylinder heads may have a maximum of 75 percent of the valve seats replaced. Input from racers has indicated that a change in the rule may be desired to allow all seats to be replaced.

Super Stock racers are asked to submit their thoughts and opinions on such a change, along with their NHRA permanent number, to Jeff Giovino at jgiovino@nhra.com or by mail to the NHRA tech department, 2035 Financial Way, Glendora, CA 91741.
