All 23 NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series events feature same-day television coverage on ESPN2 of the Professional-class action with play-by-play from motor racing veteran Paul Page and expert color commentary by former Top Fuel and Funny Car racer Mike Dunn. Sundays kick off with NHRA Race Day presented by Lucas Oil, a half-hour pre-race show that gets you up to speed for the day's activities. NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing returned to Virginia in 2006 with a race that shattered Professional performance barriers, and the two races held there since also produced eye-popping performances. The track’s reputation for being able to handle all that the teams can dish out makes it a perfect venue for the Top Fuel, Funny Car, and Pro Stock teams to begin their crucial three-race run to the world titles.
How to Get There: From Interstate 85 southbound, use Exit 63-A and travel five miles; the track is on the right. From I-85 northbound, use Exit 53 and travel west to Route 1 north. Go seven miles, and the track is on the left.
