All 24 NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series events feature same-day television coverage on ESPN2 of the Professional-class action with play-by-play from motor racing veteran Paul Page and expert color commentary by former Top Fuel and Funny Car racer Mike Dunn. Sundays kick off with NHRA Race Day presented by Lucas Oil, a half-hour pre-race show that gets you up to speed for the day's activities. The tour’s annual stop in “the birthplace of the Blues” is being contested for the third straight season in what should be cooler climes from its previous late-August date. For the teams still in the Countdown to the Championship for NHRA Full Throttle world titles, this is the halfway point of the Countdown to 1, the third of six events that will determine the world champions.
How to Get There: Take Interstate 40/240 to the Warford Road exit (Exit 6). Go north on Warford Road 6.0 miles to Raleigh Millington Road. Turn left onto Raleigh Millington Road. Turn left again at the next traffic light onto Fite Road and continue on Fite Road for .4-mile. The track is on the right.
