10:52 AM Good clean pass to start Funny Car with Epler advancing to the next
round.

The winner of the fast reaction time award for the weekend in Funny Car fell
a sleep on the line and then smoked the tires at about 300 feet.  Toliver smoked
the tires from half track on but got there first.

 (L) Whit Bazemore (Kendall/Matco '00 Camaro)    0.509      5.980 215.89

That was a season best for Johnson by a long shot and still was out of the
groove.  Bazemore smoked the tires and was done early.

These two have met 48 times with Force leading the war 31 to 17.  Force had
him by 7 hunderths at half track while Cruze struck the tires and fell off.

Worsham runs a strong pass and was even to half track when Cannon's car nosed
over and Del ran away with it.

Yesterday Worsham's crew left a wrench in the
injector that caused the car to explode.  They are all forgiven after that
run.

Sweet smoked the tires after a nice hole shot.  Capps ran around him for the
win.
 (W) Tony Pedregon (Castrol Syntec '00 Mustang)  0.468      5.089 285.11
 (L) Al Hofmann (Mooneyes '00 Firebird)          0.788      5.156 256.21

Pedregon put a hole shot on Hofmann and never looked back.  Hofmann hazed the
tires gets to quit early.

 (L) Dean Skuza (Matco Tools '00 Avenger)        0.467      6.337 156.23

They left together but Skuza smoked the tires at half track.  Pedregon was
moving around the track but hung on for win.

Johnson boiled the tires and was never really in it.  Pedregon runs a clean
pass in the heat of the day.

 (L) Ron Capps (U.S. Tobacco '00 Camaro)         0.508      8.636  94.97

Caps smokes the tire immediatly while Jerry drove straight to the finish line
for the win.

 (L) Tony Pedregon (Castrol Syntec '00 Mustang)  0.498     10.484  82.74

These guys have run each other 36 times and Force has won 30 of them.
Pedregon smokes the tires and Force gets lane chioce with the win.

Close drag race all the way with Epler pulling it out at the end but not good

2:23 PM Margin of victory = 0.013 seconds (approximately 5 feet).  WOW that
was a close one with with Pedregon pulling it out.

 (L) Jerry Toliver (WWF Racing '00 Firebird)     0.485      5.156 288.46

Another close race with Force taking it and has lane choice in the
final.

If Force beats Frank in the final he will have beaten the entire
Pedregon family in one day.

4:01 PM    Force completes the sweep of the Pedregons and has also beat all
three in final rounds at Seattle.  Pedregon smoked the tires at about 100 feet out
and was not able to recover.
Force now has 87 wins.
