Q. How do I watch the race highlight clips?
A. You may already have what you need installed on your computer that allows you to play audio and video from the NHRA Online web site, or you may need to download free software to enjoy these features.

The software that is required by the NHRA web site includes Internet Explorer 4.0 or Netscape Navigator 3.0 or later for browsing and QuickTime 3 or later

Q. Why cant I see any video?
A. If you are unable to see any video while viewing a highlihght clip, you might not have the proper multimedia software plug-in installed for your browser.

Q. Why does the video sometimes stop?
A. With Apple's QuickTime, you must first let the show file finish downloading to your computer before beginning to watch it. If you begin to watch the show before the entire file has been downloaded to your computer, the show will stop playing when it hits the end of the partially downloaded file. If this occurs, wait for the download to finish, then click the play button to watch the show in its entirety.

Q. What's a plug-in?
A. Plug-ins are used to enhance the capabilities of your browser software. Plug-ins are generally free, and are available for download directly from the plug-in's manufacturer. For the plug-in to work it must be installed into the plug-ins folder of the browser that you are using.

Q. Why is my browser giving me a warning message that says the computer doesn't have the plug-in that is needed to view the show, when I have the plug-in on my computer?
A. In order for the plug-in to operate correctly in your browser, the plug-in needs to be located in the plug-ins folder of the browser that you are using. More information on how to correctly configure your browser to use the plug-in is available in the following links:

Apple QuickTime (progressive download format) - QuickTime is a multi-platform multimedia format used by software and interactive content designers to create and deliver synchronized graphics, sound, video, text and music. Unlike streaming formats, you will need to wait until a portion of the show has been downloaded before you can begin viewing it.
