11:06 AM  Underdahl had starter problems and Harry Lartigue (Tony 
Mullen's team) ran forward with their starter to get him fired.  Treble, in 
his first semifinal ever, squeezed the tree too hard and redlighted by just 
0.005 seconds.

Mullen had problems getting the bike in gear after the burnout, but 
still regained his composure and got the starting line advantage.  But that 
was the only advantage he got, Angelle on time and quickest of the round once 
again for a margin of victory = 0.060 seconds (approximately 16 feet). 
She 
will also have lane choice against Underdahl in the finals.

1:15 PM These two have not met this year, but they faced each other 
here last year, Angelle winning.  She repeats, both riders fighting a stout 
crosswind, from right to left, and Underdahl forced to abandon the run to 
stay off the wall.
