Shadowed by U.S. Army soldiers wearing chocolate-chip-style camouflage uniforms, U.S. Army-backed racer Tony Schumacher virtually locked up his second straight NHRA POWERade Top Fuel world championship with a final-round victory over Doug Herbert in Dallas. But Schumacher refused to bite the dessert cookie that he earned after a 21-race, nine-month-long meal.
