Media and celebrities set to battle at No Problem Raceway Park

No Problem Raceway Park in Belle Rose, La., will host the fourth annual Jegs NHRA Cajun SPORTSnationals April 4-6. On tap is an exciting weekend full of racing and fun, including barbecues, live bands, several specialty races, and posted prize money totaling more than $500,000. Kicking off the weekend is Thursday's celebrity/media drag race, for which Southland Dodge in Houma, La., will provide new vehicles.

Local celebrities and media will compete for a plaque to honor their accomplishment along with all-important bragging rights. Also, a bounty-hunter award will be given to the driver who eliminates the 2007 winner.

No Problem will also host a special media challenge among radio and television personalities. Any member of the media may challenge anyone of his or her choice to a heads-up drag race, with the pride of their respective stations on the line.

Thursday afternoon will consist of a test 'n' tune session for racers competing in the Jegs NHRA Cajun SPORTSnationals. The test 'n' tune, put on by No Problem Raceway Park, is scheduled for 1 to 6 p.m. and has an entry fee of $50.
