All 23 NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series events feature same-day television coverage on ESPN2 of the Professional-class action with play-by-play from motor racing veteran Paul Page and expert color commentary by former Top Fuel and Funny Car racer Mike Dunn. Sundays kick off with NHRA Race Day presented by Lucas Oil, a half-hour pre-race show that gets you up to speed for the day's activities. ESPN2 also offers coverage of the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series. NHRA Drag Racing also is aired in Canada on TSN.

NHRA in the Community Charities

	Beat the Heat uses drag racing as a platform to promote safer communities and educate the public concerning the differences between street racing and drag racing. Police officers and firefighters claim membership in over 30 states with international members in Canada, Puerto Rico, and Australia. The original Beat The Heat was started by Sgt. Don Robertson of the Jacksonville, Fla., Sheriff's Department in 1984.

	BRAKES is a safe-driving foundation inspired by the loss of Doug Herbert’s two sons, Jon,17, and James,12, in a tragic automobile accident in January 2008. BRAKES (Be Responsible and Keep Everyone Safe), the name chosen by Jon’s senior classmates at SouthLake Christian Academy, is dedicated to educating teen drivers on safe driving and to ultimately save lives. Put on the Brakes, the charitable foundation behind BRAKES, is a 501(c)(3) organization.

	Darrell Gwynn Foundation is dedicated to preventing, provide for, and ultimately cure spinal cord injuries and other debilitating illnesses. To expedite specific cures, the foundation assists in the funding of targeted research and is presided over by Darrell Gwynn, owner of the Gwynn Racing Top Fuel dragster. Gwynn, the 1983 NHRA Top Alcohol Dragster world champion was a leading Top Fuel dragster driver prior to sustaining career-ending injuries that left him a quadriplegic.

	DRAW (Drag Racing Association of Women) provides financial and emotional support to individuals injured in drag racing accidents. Since 1985, this volunteer organization has provided over $2.25 million in financial assistance to more than 500 racing families.

	Racing for Cancer Research efforts use the highly powerful stage of NHRA Drag Racing to build awareness and breakdown barriers to increase prevention and early detection. Reaching out both on and off the track, the Coughlin family is leading the charge for cancer research. 100% off all money raised goes directly to cancer research.
