Frustration sets inTuesday, June 10, 2008
Posted by: Matt Smith, Nitro Fish Suzuki, and Rickie Smith

Well, to say I am frustrated with my bike right now would be an understatement. The last few races I have had problems shifting. First it wouldn’t come out of third, now it won’t go into high. It’s not like this is the first time this has happened either. It happened last year a lot as well. I have changed everything and nothing seems to make a difference. I guess I am just going to have to dig a little deeper. The good thing is we have a week off and I can re-evaluate everything and hopefully we will be ready for Englishtown.

I tested before Chicago last week and we ran incredible 60-foot times. We actually had a really good test. We worked on a lot of things, but I guess we are just going to have to work harder, if that’s actually possibly. We have been putting in a lot of man hours here lately and I am exhausted by it.

Dad has been traveling to Bahrain every 10 days, so he hasn’t been here to help either. He actually won three races in a row over there, the last one being this past weekend. He has a little break before he has to go back, because they don’t race in the summer time over there since it is so hot. He has got a lot of things up his sleeve soon, so next time you read our blog he will be writing in. He is having surgery on his shoulder this week, so as soon as he gets feeling better he will update you all.

I know I don’t really have a lot to say, but I promise I will next time. We have a lot of work to do in the next week, so I will catch back up with you guys later. Thanks again for checking in.
