So, the PRI show went well. We had the bike and the car out as well as doing autographs. We did a lot of autographs too. I do have to say there were a ton of people there each day. It’s cool because so many come up to you and are like, “You were awesome this year” and “You kicked butt.” It’s cool to know so many people were watching and keeping up with it. You never really think about things like that, so it was neat to hear everyone’s emotions on the situation.
We had a great time, and boy do I love Florida weather in the winter time. After hanging out at PRI for a few days, we went testing with Dad then on our own. We both ran quite well, too. We have got a lot of new things going on between the two of us, with new bikes and new cars, so we have been staying pretty busy here lately.
After driving all night to get back home, we loaded another bike up in the back of a van and hit the road to Missouri. We took the bike out there to get some things done to it and finally got back home late this past Sunday night. I am so exhausted from traveling that I literally slept all day yesterday, but now I am right back at it in the shop getting things back to normal again.
Since I have been gone so long, I have still yet to do any Christmas shopping at all. I know, I know, I am terrible. There is seven days till Christmas and I have not one thing. I will be on top of that shortly.
My one sister, Melissa, has been going through some surgeries here lately with a 4 ½-inch kidney stone and hopefully today will be her last one. We are crossing our fingers. My other sister, Amanda, went out in Charlotte last weekend with Jeg and Dave after their Christmas party. From what I heard they had a blast. They got a limo and actually had a ton of pictures until Amanda lost her camera, so I will not be able to share any photos. I am sure they would have been pretty good too.
Well, I hope everyone is getting their Christmas shopping done or is finished already. I will write back in a few days with some more news hopefully. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!
