Well I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving and hope you all didn't eat to much. I told you guys I would write and tell you about the banquet, so here goes.

Well, I guess I realized when we were in the winner's circle that I was going to have to write a speech, so I looked at my sister, Amanda and said, "I need help." The next day, after we partied the night away at the Worshams we headed to Los Angeles for the banquet. Amanda and I worked on what I was going to say, but by the time we tore down that Monday morning and got to the hotel to check in, it was time to start getting ready.

After I got dressed I went to Amanda's room and we started going over things. She had helped me write everything down on note cards, but by the time I got up there I never even looked down at them. We walked into the banquet room and sat at the table with my crew. We started watching photos while we were eating and they were just so cool. By the time we got to the dessert I think it all finally started to sink in. We got these real cool desserts if you were the champ. It was pretty awesome.

Then it was my turn to go up on stage. They came and got me with the rest of the motorcycle riders and we all walked on stage together. By the time they got tome they had shown numerous clips throughout the year, including the final round of the final race. The chills hit me again. I swear, I just can't believe it.

I got up there to make my speech and m mind went blank. I couldn't look down because I was afraid I would get lost in my words, so I just tried to remember what they said. It was pretty cool to see all those people listening to you talk. I really didn't know what to think at the time, so I just kept rambling on.

After many congratulations from many different people that I would have never in a million years ever would have thought would have came to congratulate me, we were off to the after party. We had a blast. Everyone just kicks off the shoes and mellows out. Everyone gets along and has a good time. It was just great.

After we flew home and did numerous media requests things finally got back to normal around here. We have a huge party coming up in a next week at the shop for everyone around here who couldn't celebrate with us, so I should have a lot to say then. We also have something in the works that I will clue you all in to next week as well. Hope you all have a great weekend.
