Hey everyone, Rickie here. Well, I know it’s been a while since I have written in but I have been incredibly busy the last few months. A lot has gone on here lately, so if you don’t know I’ll clue you in a bit.

While Matt’s been kicking butt in the Motorcycle class, I have been running in my Pro Stock and Pro Mod car. The week before last I was awarded an incredible honor. I was named the No. 1 Mountain Motor Pro Stock Racer, which is so amazing. I was keeping up with it a while back on the internet and my name was never mentioned. It came down to the top-five and I was like surely I will be in there somewhere, but I was never expecting to be No. 1. Never in a million years.

This year has just been great for me. Evan Knoll has given me a chance to continue to race and to win for that matter, and I have been acknowledged for two incredible honors this year as well. One at the Bristol Motor Speedway and now this one. I am almost speechless. I am just so thrilled to have accomplished so much in my career, and I hope to have impacted a few along the way.

So after racing up in Maryland in my Pro Stock car, we loaded up and went to Farmington in my Pro Mod car for a Quick 8 race. I haven’t been able to run any of those races here lately because I have been traveling so much with either my Pro Stock car or with Matt, so it was fun to go back and hang out with those racers.

We went into Farmington with my Pro Mod car that is still somewhat new. It only had 14 runs on it before this past weekend and I actually hadn’t even ran it since July 4, so me and the family loaded up and went to “The Farm.”

We made three qualifying passes and ended up as the No. 1 qualifier. We made some great runs that night and ran against some tough guys. We ended up putting down some amazing numbers, 4.02s and 4.03s, and then ended up winning the race. We were pumped. Guess this old man has still got it!!!

Anyway, we are headed to Rockingham to test for the next few days in order to get ready for my last Pro Stock race in two weeks, so if you all are in town look us up. See you all soon!
