I know there is such much speculation as to what happened this past weekend with dad. So before I go any further I just want to clear a few things up.

1. Dad and Maskin are fine. They just decided that a change was needed over there and so be it. Maskin is still the associate sponsor on dad’s Pro Mod car, which he raced this past Saturday and won.

2. As for Schumacher, everything is fine there as well. It was just not the time or place for dad to be at the moment. He has an IHRA Pro Stock car being built and it will be ready in a few months. He is also going to continue racing his Pro Mod car. Evan Knoll is the main sponsor on both cars and will continue to be with him for the next few years whatever his endeavors may lead to in the future.

As for me this past weekend. Well my team had a great weekend, but I had a bad weekend. I am very excited though for Chip and the rest of the G2 team. After last weekend in Englishtown I knew Chip was going to be hard to beat. He had that fire in his eye and wasn’t anyone going to stop him. I just wish I could have been there with him going rounds in St. Louis. My bike just did not like St. Louis. It didn’t run all weekend. From the time we got it out on Friday till the time we put it up on Sunday. I wanted to do good so badly, especially since I just won a race. However we figured out the problem and let’s just say I think me and Chip are going to be hard to beat the rest of the year, at least I hope so. We have won two in a row and we are not ready to let up one bit.

We have a few weeks off before the tricky track, Denver. I know I am going on vacation and dad’s racing Pro Mod so check back in for more updates soon.
