Two to three servings
I love sugar snap peas. They are not the most expensive item in the produce section, but they are one of the best. This recipe is great to serve with grilled fish and fried rice. I am sure that you will love the taste.
Ingredients
2 cups fresh, cleaned sugar snap peas
1 tablespoon butter
2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil
1/4 teaspoon hot red pepper flakes
2 teaspoons light brown sugar
1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
1 teaspoon black sesame seeds
To taste, salt
To taste, ground white pepper
Procedure
Boil the snap peas in lightly salted water for 1 minute; drain.
In a skillet, combine the butter, oil, and pepper flakes on medium heat.
When the butter melts, add the snap peas and stir.
Add the brown sugar and sesame seeds.
Season to taste with salt and white pepper.
Note: This is a very quick recipe, so make sure that you have all of your ingredients measured before you start.
Enjoy!
