The John Force Road Show will be in Oshkosh, Wis., celebrating the beauty and power of flight while promoting the land-based power of John Force Racing and NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing at the EAA AirVenture, July 25-31.

Following the Mopar Mile-High NHRA Nationals in Denver, the John Force Road Show will be displaying the P-51 Mustang Warbird-themed Ford Mustang Funny Car that 15-time world champion John Force raced at the 2010 Night Under Fire match race in Norwalk as well as four other 7,000-horsepower Mustang Funny Cars from the JFR stable.

Force will be in Oshkosh Wednesday, July 27, for a full day of fan interaction, including an autograph session with Edsel Ford from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Ford Hangar. The Mustang Funny Cars on display will include Force’s Superman Castrol GTX Mustang as well as his 25th anniversary Castrol GTX High Mileage entry, Robert Hight’s 2010 Auto Club Ford Mustang, and Ashley Force Hood’s Ronald McDonald Castrol GTX Mustang that she raced in 2008.

“We have taken the Road Show to NASCAR races and even the Indy 500, but I am really excited to be heading to Oshkosh for the EAA AirVenture air show. There will be over 500,000 people in attendance, and I want them all to come by and take a look at our Road Show,” said Force.

“We’ll have our Warbird Funny Car on display, and fans will be able to check out our race cars as well as the race videos. The great thing about the Road Show is that it is more than just show cars; it is educational and entertaining. Fans will see highlights from NHRA, NASCAR, and IndyCar when they stop by, and it is always changing.”

The John Force Road Show will be in the Cruisin' Legends area of AirVenture (Knapp Street near Warbird Alley). In addition to the five Ford Mustang Funny Cars on display, a P-51 Mustang will be nearby, and Jack Roush Racing will have its trailer in the same area.

“Our relationship with Ford is a major reason we are coming to 2011 EAA AirVenture for sure, but we also want to spread the gospel for all our sponsors and help grow our sport. I love NHRA Drag Racing, and to have an opportunity to showcase it in front of so many people, I could not pass it up. We’ll be going from Denver to the air show to Sonoma, Calif., but I love it,” added Force.

Force will join Ford, Harrison Ford, and Jack Roush as the VIPs for the Ford Fly-In movie theater event on Wednesday night. If you know anything about Force, you know that he loves the movies.
