NHRA Drag Racing veteran “T.V. Tommy” Ivo is among those nominated for the 11th annual Justice Bros. Shav Glick Award, which recognizes those who have made distinguished contributions to motorsports in California and is named for the longtime motorsports writer for the Los Angeles Times and member of the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America who died in 2007. The other nominees are Jeff Gordon, Paul Newman, and Kenny Roberts.

Previous NHRA winners of the award include Wally Parks and John Force. The award will be given during the pre-race ceremony at the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Auto Club 500, Feb. 21 at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, Calif.
