The Southern California home shop and museum of 14-time NHRA Funny Car world champion John Force will be open Thursday (Nov. 12) and Friday (Nov. 13) from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The John Force Racing Museum is filled with trophies, race cars, memorabilia, and hundreds of photos spanning the 30-year career of Force as well as all of his drivers, including points leader Robert Hight, 2008 rookie of the year Mike Neff, and daughters Ashley Force Hood, Brittany Force, and Courtney Force.

Fans will also be able to see the John Force Racing shop during this midday opportunity. While the teams will be busy at Auto Club Raceway at Pomona qualifying for the 45th annual Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals, fans can see behind the scenes, where Force’s stable of Mustangs are worked on when they travel to the West Coast.

“This is a great chance for our fans to stop by and see some of John’s great memorabilia, winning race cars, including Robert Hight’s LA Dodgers Mustang from last season, and unbelievable photographs. We really only open the shop and museum to the general public a couple times a year. Fans can spend a couple of hours here and then head to the racetrack and see great racing action,” said Craig Hoelzel, manager of the JFR RaceStation.

The John Force Racing shop is at 22722 Old Canal Road, Yorba Linda, CA 92887; 714-921-1651.

The John Force Racing shop and museum are approximately 20 minutes northeast of Disneyland, 20 minutes south of the Wally Parks NHRA Museum presented by Automobile Club of Southern California, and 45 minutes from Los Angeles.

From the 91 Freeway in Yorba Linda, exit Weir Canyon/Yorba Linda Boulevard (north), then turn right at Savi Ranch Parkway. Turn right at Old Canal Road, turn left at Eastpark Drive, then left into the first driveway on the left.
