In February, NHRA Funny Car star Ashley Force Hood and her cat, Simba, were photographed by award-winning photographer David Woo for his new book, Top Dogs and Their Pets. The book is now available nationwide in bookstores as well as from the Neiman Marcus catalog. Force Hood is one of four  celebrities highlighted on the cover, which also features dog whisperer Cesar Millan.
 
John Force Racing, in conjunction with Woo, produced a specialty edition that features Force Hood and Simba as the featured celebrity on the cover; it is available exclusively through the John Force RaceStation retail store and online at www.johnforceracestation.com.

“I’m really excited about Top Dogs and Their Pets because it’s a really entertaining, beautifully laid out, and fun book. I’m proud that Simba and I got to be a part of it. The only problem is that Simba is starting to get a big head what with all the publicity and attention he’s getting,” said Force Hood.

Portions of the proceeds from Top Dogs and Their Pets will go directly to the Cesar and Ilusion Millan Foundation, which offers financial support and rehabilitation expertise to pet shelters and rescue organizations throughout the United States.
