Hey blog fans! A lot of exciting things going on here for me. The four-wide race is coming up and we’re excited to have all the NHRA drivers, crews, and fans here in Charlotte for the weekend!

Since I wrote my last blog we have announced that we’re moving our shop to a location in Concord, just minutes from Charlotte Motor Speedway and zMAX Dragway. It will be really beneficial for us to be in Concord, it’s the heart of the racing industry here in Charlotte. We will be open during the four-wide race so I hope all the race fans stop by to check out our new facility, it is located at 4030 Concord Parkway South, Concord, NC 28027.

Something else really fun going on that weekend is the 2nd Annual Hot Rods and Hot Cakes Pancake Breakfast to benefit B.R.A.K.E.S. and the Charlotte Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities.

Last year the event was a huge success; all the fans came out early to have breakfast with their favorite drivers and crew chiefs. We’re having the breakfast in Don Schumacher’s Napa hospitality pit from 8-10 a.m. on Saturday, April 16. Make sure you stop by for some good food and a chance to meet some of the drivers!

Little Bella isn’t so little anymore! She is growing so fast, I feel like she gains 5 pounds everyday! She is having fun hanging out at the shop with everyone and is getting such a personality. Ginger, Jessie and I love having her around, she is so much fun and it’s hard to look at her and not smile!

We went out last night for Ginger’s birthday to The Speedway Club. Our good friends Tom Cotter and Wanda and Craig Miller were there. Wanda made a special birthday cake for Ginger – Happy 32nd Birthday Ginger!
