Hey NHRA fans!

I hope you guys are doing well and looking forward to the holidays as much as I am. It’s nice to be at home for some extra time with Jessie. I’ve been getting to see her a lot and we’ve been doing a lot of fun things.

Last Saturday Jessie had Olivia come hang out with us and the first thing that we did was go to the pet store. I think she was trying to talk me into buying a dog but I know how much work and attention having a dog is. Actually I feed her fish everyday and clean the bowl. That’s one tough fish; it’s a Beta fish that is almost two years old.

Later the girls made food for a few friends that we had over to the house for dinner. They had a blast making the food and signs for the food. My friends Craig and Clay hung out and enjoyed the food that the girls made. Jessie’s friends Allie and Brook also came over and the girls had a fun sleep over night. They made a heck of a mess in the bath room when they decided to put on mud masks! They actually scared me doing this! We also had a Wii-playing marathon. I think Jessie was the winner. She beats me pretty good, except for in Mario cart! At least I can win the driving games, but other than that she won’t let me win a thing.

We have a lot going on this weekend. Stacy, who works with B.R.A.K.E.S. is down at the PRI show in Orlando, along with some of the guys from Doug Herbert Performance. If you’re at the show make sure you stop by and say hi. They BRAKES show car is down there so they shouldn’t be hard to spot! This weekend I’ll be participating in something special as well. I’ve been invited to attend a dinner and fundraiser for Garth Brooks’ Teammates for Kids foundation. I’m going to speak about B.R.A.K.E.S. and what we’re trying to do to save some teenagers lives.

That’s all for now, I’ll check-in soon.

Doug
