For the Vegas competition, I am looking forward to participating, but I am also looking forward to spending time with my boys. This is the first time they have been to a race in a long, long time. I look forward to taking them up to the Stratosphere, riding some rides, and taking in a couple of shows.
Obviously, our main goal is to go out and have our Chevy Cobalt qualify, ultimately in first place. (smile) It will be a great weekend, because I am spending time with my sons.
Lastly, for the record, understanding we have our achievement program, Tom Hammonds Race for Achievement, and I did not take them out of school. No, no! They actually were doing their school achievement testing this week and it ended on Wednesday, which gave them a chance to come without missing school!
