Hi everyone

Wow what a great weekend for our team! The weather was beautiful and no chance of rain. I am way thankful for that because last race really took a toll on everyone. I flew in to Phoenix on Tuesday to do a meet and greet at Moore Jeep on Wednesday and, man, did I have a great time. All the people at the dealership were so awesome and I got to meet some people who were coming out to the races. I have to thank Moore for giving us Jeeps to ride around in while we were at the races. They really went out of their way to help us out.

I think Moore and my sponsor have a great relationship, and speaking of my sponsor, BrakeSafe, this was their hometown race so they had all kinds of people from the business there and it was cool to meet them.

I tell you what, they had the signage covered at the track. You could not look anywhere and not see BrakeSafe, which is awesome for them. This rear end collision avoidance system product is really going to take off, and if you have not got a chance to check it out you can go to mrbreaksafe.com to look at this great product.

Let me tell you how proud of my guys I am man did they do a great job this weekend. Eddy and Terry are really taking charge and I can see that all the guys have respect for them you have to have guys like that around if you are going to do well, and my crew chief, Tommy DeLago, is really getting a handle on this BrakeSafe hot rod. Right out of the box we ran 4.10 and that put us in the No. 1 spot for the first session. Man, was I excited not only did that take the pressure off of qualifying but it looked good for our sponsor and DSR. I know the guys felt good about it, too!

Man, my first-round win also came this weekend and that's a huge stepping stone in itself but it didn’t come easy it was a very close race I ran a 4.09 and Jim Head ran a 4.10. We won by a nose but a win is a win and I will take them any way I can get them. In the second race, I ran my teammate Ron Capps and it was another close race but he got the win. So if you are going to lose I guess it makes it a little easier to swallow if it is a team car.

And Capps -- that dude is on fire! To wins two in a row, that is awesome! He and "Ace" are really bringing their game face when they come to race. What's really cool about the whole deal is that we are bouncing info back and forth to help each other out. But congratulations to them on their second win in a row and more to come!

I can't wait till Gainesville to get back out there and start racing again.

Catch u later.
