Hey everyone, BB back here with you. I'm sorry we haven't updated this blog in a long time (for us) and all of us here really appreciate all the emails you fans have sent asking what's been going on around here and were worried about us.

Here's the deal, as far as the drag racing scene for us is concerned there's nothing to report except that we have a lead on a sponsor who wants to help us out for the Charlotte race. Time will tell but I'm 70 percent sure we'll be burning rubber in September at zMax.

We got a call a few weeks ago from Chris Cunningham, the crew chief for Bob Tasca, who asked if they could park their hospitality rig at our shop in Blacksburg, S.C., overnight to make the logistics of getting it to Commerce for the race right down the road easier instead of hauling it all the way back to their new shop in Concord, N.C. a 120-mile round trip. We said why not so the Tasca rig lived in our lot on the side of I-85 for a while and drew quite a few stares.

Gilby has been hanging in there considering the circumstances. He's busy every day at the world headquarters of TEMCO ad is spending the weekends on the road with the Trick Tank Arenacross team.

Don't want to brag but Gilby's son Jake has been kicking butt and taking names on the Arenacross circuit. He won points titles in two regions in two classes and will racing three classes at the prestigious U.S. Open in Vegas in October. For the full story visit: www.jakegilbertson.com

A lot of you have written asking about the limo which burned a few weeks back. We'll here's a couple of shots of the aftermath. It's kind of ironic that we've got it parked next to the fire truck we use to water the motocross track, huh? As you can see the engine burned up pretty good and the wiring needs a little work...LOL

Me, I've been busy working on a lot of stuff and spending my spare time helping my buddy Dick Rosberg with his Jet Dragster. A few months ago Dick was booked to do some exhibition runs at the taping of PINKS All-Out at zMax Dragway. We decided then and there that we wanted to do something special for the TV show and came up with an idea to blow pink smoke of the tailpipe. You know how at the air shows the Blue Angels or the Thunderbirds squirt colored smoke? Well Dick came up with a similar system, hooked it up and bought some pink dye. We've tested it a few times to make sure it was ready for PINKS and last night it was Showtime.

Don't have any photos of the deal to show you but I found this video on You Tube, check it out: http://www.youtube.com:80/watch?v=OWJhZAoczhA&feature=email

By the way there's been a lot of speculation about the condition of Bruton Smith's daughter, Anna Lisa, who was injured in a serious traffic accident last year. Well let me tell you this, she's alive and well, doing great and she stopped by our pit to check out the cockpit of Dick's dragster. She's got a lot of therapy in front of her but she still wants to get behind the wheel of a Top Fuel Dragster. Here's her mentor, Roy Hill, Anna Lisa and me posing for the media yesterday afternoon...LOL

So that's it for now, type at you soon, I promise.
