Hey everyone, BB here once again with ya.
I never cease to be amazed about what goes on around here at Terminator Motorsports, Trick Tank and TEMCO. Case in point: Since we haven't been racing I haven't made the trek down to Blacksburg lately. I know our assistant crew chief, Kevin Fenstermaker, has been busy down there but until I received this email from Gilby this morning I didn't really realize what he's been doing. Since our car is up at Murf McKinney's right now getting up-graded for our debut in Charlotte in September I wondered what he was working on, now I know. Gilby typed this:
Berserko... do a spell check and add or delete what ever and put it up on the blog.
Oh yeah, Robert Hight called today because he needs a Trick Tank Alcohol warm-up tank, I guess that they're trying to save some money over there, huh?
Hi there blog readers...
I told Kevin, "the last man standing" now that we have a little time off while Murf is updating the ca,r why don't we gather up some of the junk around the race shop to recycle?
Well take a look it's almost enough scrap to retire on. We have the steel, the aluminum, the titanium, the cast iron, the copper, the brass ,the Mallory, all separated.
Wow...but it’s still not enough to retire, just not enough to wonder what the hell did this cost new?
So I figure in another four or five years Jake can drive then I'll retire. So for now, we will just take the cash and pay some race car bills. That will work; there are always some bills, right?
I talked to Robert Hight a while ago, he's doing great and boy he's ready to win; I could hear it in his voice. So when Jimmy Prock, Mr. Horsepower, finds a way to cover the extra weight and figure out 1,000-foot racing, look out.
I can remember lots of races we would have won if we were going to 1,000 feet. Our problem is the engine had it's tongue hanging out at 800 feet, that's when big John and those Force guys would blow their horn --beep beep -- put 75 degrees of mag in and would rip by me like I was stopped.
Maybe this fall our team can have some fun at the 1,000-foot races, but for now all we can do is cash in some scrap and think about the story behind each part, where they been sent for repair, what race it fell out on the track and we got an oildown, what cylinder dropped, the rear main that is black, the cam that blew the blower off on and on...
No question about it, there's a blog for each part that now is scrap and will go right to China get melted and come back here as a frying pan or a .?

Now let's get to the "Fat Boy." I walked into Gilby's office this morning and sitting there on display in all it's glory was the new "Fat Boy" portable aluminum air tank. It joins our line of tanks that are available on www.tricktank.com and our R&D staff is working on another product that's going to be an 11" "pancake" style tank that Gilby's naming the "Fatty."
Never a dull moment around here, huh?
